Our Story

Paddle & Portage was born out of a love for Algonquin Park and all things summer camp.

Our shop is a collection of unique and authentic products that inspire people to experience the outdoors and create lasting memories in nature. With a storied heritage dating back to 1936 on the sunny shores of South Tea Lake, Paddle & Portage defines the Canadian camping tradition.

Our customers are paddlers, campers, voyageurs and visionaries who share a love and an appreciation for nature and who believe that reconnecting with the wild is good for everyone's soul, spirit and mind.
